Attorney Weisenberger is a 1996 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. She majored in Criminal Justice with a dual minor in Government and Sociology.
In 1999, Attorney Weisenberger earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
From 2000 through 2003, Attorney Weisenberger served as a Dauphin County Public Defender. The first year was spent exclusively representing juvenile clients. The following two years Attorney Weisenberger was an active member of the appellate division while maintaining a full caseload; representing clients charged with felony drug offenses, aggravated assault, rape and murder.
From 2003 until 2012, Attorney Weisenberger served as a Dauphin County Deputy District Attorney. Attorney Weisenberger spent the first several years working as a member of the child abuse unit prosecuting child physical and sexual assault cases as well as child homicides. During the final four years, Attorney Weisenberger was in charge of the drug unit, which included overseeing the Dauphin County Drug Task Force. Attorney Weisenberger has prosecuted numerous cases including felony drug offenses, aggravated assault, robbery, rape, and murder; and was the lead trial counsel in over one hundred jury trials.
From 2010 through 2012, Attorney Weisenberger served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
From 2012 through 2020, Attorney Weisenberger was a partner at Perry Shore Weisenberger & Zemlock. Attorney Weisenberger represented clients in grand jury matters, children and youth investigations, felony drug offenses, robberies, assaults, child abuse cases, homicides and death penalty cases. She represented clients including the Penn State University Athletic Director for charges relating to the prosecution of Jerry Sandusky and was a member of the appellate team for Mr. Bill Cosby, writing a significant portion of his appellate brief and arguing the case before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
A transplant from Northampton County, Attorney Weisenberger has been in the Harrisburg area since 1992 and has been practicing law in the Harrisburg area since 1999.
Attorney Weisenberger is an adjunct professor at the Harrisburg Area Community College teaching Legal Writing and Research II at the Harrisburg campus and Criminal Evidence at the Lebanon Campus. Attorney Weisenberger has lectured for the Police Academy, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Fraternal Order of Police and several police departments in Dauphin County.
Since 2006, Attorney Weisenberger has organized a toy collection for the United States Marines Toys for Tots toy drive. Ask her how many days there are until Christmas.
